Tournament Pages

Tabtastic now provides all tournaments with a Tournament Page, even without a Tabtastic plan, giving you a place to put important information about your tournament. Tabtastic now also has a Tournament Browser, which shows ongoing and upcoming tournaments on the platform.

Visibility

Tabtastic now has a Visibility setting, which allows you to control how people can access your Tournament Page:

  • Private: The Tournament Page is completely disabled, however tournament admins can still view the page so that changes can be previewed.
  • Unlisted: The Tournament Page is only accessible by its direct link or by participants, it will not be shown on the public Browse pages or in search.
  • Public: The Tournament Page is listed on the public Browse pages, search and may be featured on the homepage, in addition to direct access and participant access.

Description

The description allows you to write an introductory message about your tournament, and can also be used for additional information about the tournament. The description supports a limited subset of Markdown, similar to what Discord messages supports.

Schedule

The schedule is dynamic, you create it in your tournament’s timezone, but it display’s in the participant’s local timezone, which helps to eliminate confusion and bad conversions. When displaying in the participant’s local timezone, it will automatically account for daylight savings time, however you still have to manually account for DST when setting your tournament’s timezone. Tabtastic splits the schedule by day to make it clear which items apply to which days, and it will automatically sort items by ascending sort time (so no need to re-sort schedule items).
