Full Google Meet support has not yet arrived in Tabtastic, but is a planned feature. In the mean time, you can still use Google Meet with Tabtastic, but it requires some additional set up.
If you are using Google Meet we recommend using one meeting per room, and using the meeting for the entire duration of the competition. With this method, you can go into the tab’s Edit Database section and edit each room to set it’s external URL to the URL for the Google Meet meeting. Tabtastic will then use this URL during the draw process without you needing to specify one.
To save time on your draw and avoid confusing prompts, you can also disable Zoom Allocations by unticking the “Generate Zoom Allocations” box in the Allocation tab of the Tournament Manager. You may also want to delete any buildings that are present in this tab, or Tabtastic will ask you to supply links for them during the draw. This will not have any impact on the draw, as you can still skip the link step and the draw will work correctly with your Google Meet links, but this can be confusing.
